vadani kavala ghetA(while taking part of food(by hand) in mouth)
vadani kavala ghetA is start of a famous Marathi verse which people were chanting before lunch. The whole verse is
vadani kavala ghetA
nAma ghyA shrIharIche
sahaja havana hote
nAm ghetA fukAche
jIvan karI jIvItva
anna he purNabramha
udarabharaNa nohe
jaNIje yadnyakarma.
Meaning:- While taking kavala(part of food remain in a hand) take name of lord shrIharI. Without any charge and effort havana happens. anna(holly nutritius food) is absolutely full brahma. Eating anna is not only feeling stomach(udarabharaNa) but yadnyakarma.
What a thinking of our(indians) incestors. This is verse to be chant before taking anna(not only food but also nutritius and holly as i said earlier). Our ancestors had said that while taking kavala take name of Lord Shreehari. It makes havana(Havana means giving AhutI to devatAs through agnI(agni is not fire but potential of oxidization)). Anna is purnabrahma which makes life energetic. It's not just feeling stomach but it is yadnyakarma.

Anna he poorna brhum means life is there in all food and all life exists in brahma i.e. universe. So life survives only on life.
